Description
When Cam travelled to LA on the way back from a Nashville writing trip he spent some time with borne’s then American manager Jeremy Hammond. Late one night over dinner J’s wife read Cam a letter from writer Martha Graham.
“.. … No artist is pleased. [There is] no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.” – Martha GrahamÂ
Cam was instantly moved by the words and wrote them down. Upon returning to Australia Cam was approached by Paul Morgan, a massive borne fan and owner of Medici recording studios.
Paul gave borne the opportunity of a life time. To record the next borne album with no budget limitations and no time constraints. Cam sent back into the writing room and more than 6 grueling months later ‘The Blessed Unrest’ was complete.
